Great Gretuski Studios are hosting a second casting call for Peachleaf Valley!

They're looking to cast 19 total characters, divided upon roles as follows:

• 13 Major NPCs;
• 2 Special Characters;
• 4 Side Characters.

Summary info:

• the deadline: September 15th, 2024 at 11:59 pm EST;
• it's a paid job ^^;
• you must be at least 18 years old to audition;
• submit all of your auditions to auditions.gretuskigames@gmail.com in MP3 or WAV format only + label your file(s) as: “Character_YourName” (Example: Giuseppe_JohnSmith);
• all auditions should be one email per character;
• a Non-Disclosure Agreement and VA Work Contract will be expected to be signed upon hiring!

Audition Information

The deadline for this casting call will be September 15th, 2024 at 11:59 pm EST.

Audio quality is of the highest priority for this production. We expect your audition files to have clear and high quality sounding audio with no pops, hisses, peaking or background noises.

You must be at least 18 years old to audition for this project.

All roles will be PAID. VAs to include their own rates.

Please submit your auditions in MP3 or WAV format only.

Please label your file(s) as: “Character_YourName” (Example: Giuseppe_JohnSmith);

Submit all of your auditions to auditions.gretuskigames@gmail.com.

Please label your email subject line: “PV Audition - Your Name - Character Being Auditioned For” (Example: PV Audition - John Smith - Giuseppe)

Please include the following information in your email:

• Name/Alias (What you wish to be credited as);
• Contact details (social media/email/discord, etc.);
• Time Zone;
• Audition(s) files;
• Character(s) you are auditioning for;
• Payment Rate in USD (per line) and (per word);
• Links to any portfolios or professional website (Optional);
• CV/Previous Experience (Optional).

All auditions should be one email per character. 

• Maximum of two takes per line.
• Please do not send separate files per line or take, you can include them all in one single audio file.
• You can audition for more than one character, but no more than three total.
• Our email is set up to automatically organize auditions under different character labels. So if you'd like to audition for multiple characters, you can copy and paste your information and just swap out the subject line, character name and files. Example: Someone who'd like to audition for both Giuseppe & Talon would send 2 separate emails. One with "PV Audition - John Smith - Giuseppe" and the appropriate file with Giuseppe's audition lines and the second email with "PV Audition - John Smith - Talon" and the file with Talon's lines.
• Failure to follow this structure may entail your audition getting missed or skipped over.

This casting call is for the production of the full game. If you are selected, you will be expected to begin officially recording soon after the audition process is completed.

IMPORTANT Peachleaf Valley is a partially voice-acted game in which most deliverables will all fall into either a "per line" or "per word" category. 

• “Per Line” is defined as lines in the script that entail complete, formal sentence(s) in sequential format. Example: “The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog… but the lazy dog only rolled his eyes and continued sleeping.”
• “Per Word” is defined as singular acted word(s) that do not form a complete sentence and sound(s). Example: “Yes!” “Oh no!” “Huh?!” and also includes laughs, gasps, scoffs, etc.

REQUIRED We request that all VAs provide us with their own rates for this project for a "Per Line" and "Per Word" basis. Failure to include rates in the specified format will entail being skipped over.

Likewise, please also include if your rates are negotiable or non-negotiable in your audition email. 

A Non-Disclosure Agreement and VA Work Contract will be expected to be signed upon hiring. Recordings are to be used solely and exclusively for “Peachleaf Valley.” All recordings, character artworks, etc. are protected under copyright and are only to be used at our discretion.
