Spooky Monster: An Event for Russian Users and How to Fix the Font Error

Hello again!

As I mentioned earlier, Spooky Monster was released on Steam on April 2, 2026.

I’d like to write a separate post for Russian-speaking players on how to fix any font display issues, if they occur. And if you live in Russia, you can enter the contest!

So, let’s get started.

How do you fix the Russian font in Spooky Monster?

This question may arise for both Russian speakers and those learning the language, so I’ll provide instructions in both languages.

First, you need to download the font:

• You can click right here >>here<<. This is a direct link to the font archive on GitHub
• or you can go to GitHub and download the archive yourself: click the green CODE > Download zip button

Extract the archive to a location of your choice. Among the files, you’ll find the ones we need: CODE2000.TTF and patch.xp3.

Right-click on the CODE2000.TTF font and select Install.

Next, you need to add the patch and font to the Steam version of the game:

1. From the Game Library, select Spooky Monster;
2. On the right side of the menu, click the Settings (⚙) button > Settings > View Local Files

Copy our files—CODE2000.TTF and patch.xp3—into the root folder (the one that opened). That’s it; the font display error for Russian-speaking users is now fixed.

Spooky Monster Event: A Postcard for a Review

For players of Spooky Monster, Russian publisher VNka has decided to run a promotional campaign in which they will send out beautiful glossy postcards featuring one of the game’s main characters.

A total of 10 postcards will be given away.

How to enter the giveaway?

From April 2 to 23, 2026, leave a review for Spooky Monster on Steam.

Next, send a screenshot of your review to the publisher VNka at freevnrus@gmail.com and provide your mailing address for the postcard (full name, address, and ZIP code).

Postcards will only be sent within Russia.

Как починить шрифт в игре

Вам надо сначала скачать шрифт:

• можете нажать сразу вот >>сюда<<. Это прямая ссылка на архив со шрифтом с GitHub
• или можете перейти на GitHub и самостоятельно скачать архивчик: нажмите на зеленую кнопку CODE > Download zip

Распакуйте архив в удобное для вас место. Среди файлов будут интересующие нас CODE2000.TTF и patch.xp3. Нажмите на шрифте CODE2000.TTF правой кнопкой мышки и выберите Установить.

Далее надо добавить в Steam-версию игры патч и шрифт:

1.  из Библиотеки игр выбираем Spooky Monster;
2.  справа в меню нажимаем на кнопку Управление (⚙) > Управление > Посмотреть локальные файлы

Копируем в корневую папку наши файлы: CODE2000.TTF и patch.xp3. Теперь ошибка отображения шрифта исправлена.

Розыгрыш открыток!

Для игроков игры Spooky Monster российский издатель VNka решил провести стимулирующую акцию ввиде рассылок прекрасных глянцевых открыток с одним из основных героев игры.

Всего разыгрывается 10 открыток.

Как участвовать в розыгрыше?

С 2 по 23 апреля 2026 (до 13-00 по МСК)  нужно оставить отзыв в Steam на игру Spooky Monster.

Далее надо прислать свой скриншот на почту издателя VNka: freevnrus@gmail.com и указать свой почтовый адрес для отправки открытки (ФИО, адрес, индкс).

Рассылка осуществляется только по РФ.
