Ikemen Prince: Interview with VA Sion Yoshitaka (Luke Randolph)

What are your impressions of the game?

I thought it was romantic and a wonderful story that everyone would like. Each of the eight princes in this story have a motif of a beast, but as they start to understand what love is because of the heroine, there'll be a change of heart that aligns with the characteristic for each beast the characters represent. For example, Luke will get more possessive or want to get spoiled by you. I really liked that idea.

What were your first impressions of your character, and what do you find appealing about him?

Since he likes to be lazy, I thought he might be a slacker at first, but it was only just words. The feelings he has hidden inside are actually strong, and I thought it was great how he accomplishes things even though he says he's lazy. I also really like that he has a manly side, like when he risks his life for the things he cares for, but then he also has a cute side like liking honey

What were some things you were particular about I when you voiced him?

I was careful to express his older brother-like attitude. I also was care­ful with his laziness and the unique tempo in which he speaks.

Who are other characters that you're interested in and why?

Since Luke charms the people around him, I'm interested in Nokto who's a playboy. I'm curious about how much he plays with them.

Speaking of the title "lkemen Prince", if you were to call yourself "___ Prince", what would you put in the blank?

"Fast at Eating and Eats a Lot Prince". I had a race to see who could eat onigiri the fastest before, but I can eat an onigiri in about 20 seconds. I also think that I eat a lot. I'm careful not to eat dinner if I eat too a lot that day or to not eat too much the next day as to not gain weight [lol]

Do you have a message for your fans?

I'm honored to voice act a character from the lkemen Series. I'll do my best to breathe life into Luke with my voice so that as many people as possible will feel true love with him, so please cheer me on.
